Task 5 - Branding

In this task I learnt how different bands and artists sell them selves like clothing brands, and different merchandise and their genres they associate with e.g. Kanye West, pop, rap and hip hop. I learnt what clothing different bands and artists wear according to their genre for example Mumford and Sons wear old country farming clothing.

Task 4 - Analysis of Digipak Adverts

From doing this task, I have learnt  what makes a successful digipak. I now know what a digipak should involve depending on who your target audience is and what response you are trying to get back. This could be to do with the lighting, or the photos or images on the advert.

Task 3 - Analysis of Digipaks

In this task I learnt what a digipak is and what they consists of and what the purpose of them are. I also learnt the dimensions of a digipak. 

Task 2 - Analysis of music websites

In this task I learnt how different bands and artist layout their websites and the differences in genres effect the website, colours, titles. This task will help me if i chose to make a website as I now know how to get certain information across easily and how to keep peoples attentions on the page. 

Task 1 - History of Music Video

From doing this task, I learnt a lot about different types of music videos and how they have evolved and developed over time. This will help me when it comes to planning and making my video, as I now know what has been done before, making it easier for me to make my video unique.
